Performance

After my recent experience with the HL4 fairway wood (review HERE ), my expectations for the HL4 driver were quite high. The club delivered.

Hot Launch 4 seemed consistent right from the start. My experience with the stock UST Mamiya was poor, however it allowed me to forgive. My ball speed was steady from shot to shot even when I wasn’t hitting it flush. The HL4’s Titanium Cup Face and Variable Face Thickness are responsible for this.

A second thing that was extremely consistent was high launch, low spin. The ball’s center of gravity is extremely high, and this head wants it to take the ball into higher trajectories. Because of the low spin drive, drives flatten out immediately after launch. Carry is followed by run out. Being a low spin player, I even saw a few range balls knuckle from lack of spin when I hit a draw.

The Tour Edge-HL4 driver is available in two options. The straight neck, seen here, comes in lofts of 9.5, 10.5, and 12 degrees. An offset model is available in the following lofts: 10.5, 12 and 13.5 degrees.

Can The Tour Edge Hl4 Driver Be Adjusted?

Tour Edge HL4 has very few bells and whistles. You won’t find any slots or adjustable weights on the Tour Edge HL4. This is the basic driver head for a shaft.

Is The Tour Edge Hl4 Driver a New Product?

The new premium performance clubs will be available nationwide and globally on August 1st. Tour Edge provides a unprecedented 48-hour guarantee of delivery in the United States for any custom-fit order HL4. Glod explained that “This is an initial release to a product series we developed for 2020.”

What Are the differences between Tour Edge Hl3 or Hl4?

Tour Edge claims that the MOI for the HL4 drivers is 12 per cent higher than those of the HL3, which it replaces. This makes it significantly more stable, and it resists twisting when impact is more effective. Tour Edge plans to offer an offset version in addition to its standard HL4 driver.

What are the benefits of Tour Edge Clubs?

Tour Edge produces consistently top-ranked clubs in every category. Hot Launch Series is popular for its high quality, cost-effective lineup. The Exotics CBX and fairwaywoods were used by many Champions Tour players throughout 2018, including several winners.
