Target offers customers 14-days notice to request price adjustments for all Target products, except marketplace items. This can be done at any check-out lane, along with your original receipt and packing slip. Online orders can be placed by contacting Guest Services.

Target customers can request price adjustments for any product sold by Target. Here are some examples.

Target’s Price Adjustment Policy allows for you to make a request to adjust the price within 14 days of purchasing a product.

Does Target Do Price Adjustments During The Holidays?
Cyber Week is the best time to shop for Cyber Friday. Target allows you to request price adjustments if you bought a product that was significantly discounted during Black Friday.
Target recently waived the 14-day rule in 2022. This meant that any merchandise purchased from November 1st to November 28th, will be subject to a price adjustment up until December 24th.

Target stores offer the ability to adjust prices for both store-bought or online orders through any checkout area, as well a Guest Services counter.
Although you don’t have to present the product in person, proof of purchase will be required (see above). You will be refunded the difference by the cashier after the initial price has been verified against the revised price.
The cash refund will be issued immediately. Credit or debit card reimbursements can take upto 5 days. Target RedCardrefunds only take 1-2 days.
Paying with checks will result in a merchandise refund card (if it hasn’t cleared), or cash. You can place online orders by calling Guest Services. Or, chat with Target via their app or website.
Can Target Adjust The Price Of Sale Items?
Target will correct the price for products placed in a sale within 14 days of purchase. There are some exceptions.
You cannot adjust the price of clearance or closing-out sales items. However, you may return your original item within the time limit and get a repurchase for the lower price.
Target will not adjust your purchase price for pre-owned, refurbished, or rent-and-leave products. Also, price adjustments cannot be made for items marked down because of typographical errors.
Is there a limit on price adjustment at Target
Target Marketplace’s third-party Target Plus Partners can not match or adjust the price of merchandise in stores or online.
Target will often not allow price adjustments for alcohol-based products, due to different state laws.
Target Circle Rewards members cannot ask for a price adjustment of products in special Target Circle promotions, discounts, and offers.
To match the pricing of the identical item at another retailer, request a price matching.

If the cost of the product drops in price, customers can adjust their prices within 14 days. Register your request at any in-store checkout lane or by contacting Guest Services online. You’ll need the original receipt or packing slip for a refund. The price adjustment does not apply to products that are sold through Target’s Marketplace.
