Kroger Dress Code In 2022?
Kroger employees now have to wear an apron. Kroger does have no rules against tattoos or natural hair colors. Kroger employees can wear black or blue jeans, khaki pants and skirts that don’t include any cuts.
Is Kroger offering a uniform for employees?
Kroger employees must wear an apron while at work to show that they’re serving customers.
Kroger implemented a change to its employee dress policy. In April 2019, Kroger required that employees and associates wear blue aprons with rainbow hearts embroidered on them.
While an employee is working, the apron should be tied at the waist and a strap around your neck.
The uniform can be worn by employees with their own sleeves and long sleeves.
Kroger management clarifies that they do not have a uniform policy. Some employees claim that they feel uncomfortable wearing the apron.

Employees are not required to wear Kroger blue shirts anymore, but they are still allowed to use them as long as they are clean.
Kroger-branded shirts are another type of shirt that is allowed.
Also, employees may wear business casual crew neck shirts and business casual roundneck blouses in solids or tasteful patterns.
Note that all permitted shirts and tops must not have graphics, logos, abbreviations, writings, or non-Kroger logos.
Kroger will not accept crop tops or tank tops from any other retailer.
What kind of Pants and Skirts are you allowed to wear as a Kroger Employee?
Kroger employees, associates, and customers may dress in jeans and pants that have a basic color (blue/black, khaki), and are not stained, cut, frayed, or hole-free.
The only exception is for female workers to be allowed to wear plain-colored (blue/black or khaki) skirts. But, they are forbidden from wearing capris or leggings, jeggings, yoga-style or other similar pants.
In addition, Kroger doesn’t prohibit employees from wearing shorts. Be aware that shorts, jeans, and pants must not touch the hips or waistline.
Is Kroger allowing employees to have tattoos and piercings?
Employees at Kroger are free to wear tattoos, but it is unlikely that facial tattoos are allowed, especially for customer-facing attendants.
While supervisors can have tattoos on the arms of their employees, it’s best to avoid offensive tattoos.
Kroger has no restrictions on piercings.
You might hide those that are not necessary if you go to an interview. Then, ask for feedback from co-employees if these items are acceptable.
You should note that this may not be the case if you have to work with any subsidiary of Kroger.
For instance, there are reports that employees who work at Fred Meyers are not allowed to wear any other piercings besides earrings.
Kroger Allows Associates Wear Hats
Kroger will allow associates to use hats but they must be approved by Kroger. To indicate approval, the rule says that the hat cannot have any arts, prints or logos other then the Kroger logo, if the hat does.
You must also ensure that the hat is clean and well-maintained at all times. the bill of the hat cannot be positioned to the side or the back of the head.
Kroger is open to allowing different hair colors or unnatural ones?
Kroger employees may wear any color of hair.
Management will have no issues if the employee’s hair is neat and tidy.
Kroger employees can wear what kind of shoes?
Kroger management states that Kroger employees’ shoes must be closed toed and have no heels.
People who work in the all-perishables department must also wear slip-resistant footwear or crew-guard shoes provided by management.
