The USPS said that they are addressing the problem many people have: Insufficient access to printers.
These people noted that the lack of access to printing was an issue with increasing numbers of workers working remotely.
Enter the Label Broker/Click-N-Ship integration, which makes it easy for both small business owners and their customers to access shipping labels when they need them.
Although the shipping label will need to be purchased and may vary in cost depending on the parcel, the USPS provides printing services at no extra charge.
Label Broker allows customers to return their merchandise free of charge to eCommerce shop owners who have in mind or wish to do so.
What is USPS Label broker?
USPS Label Broker allows customers to have easy, convenient access for shipping labels even when they don’t have printers at home.
Anybody who doesn’t have access to a printer may use this service for shipping labels. They can then be printed without charge.
This is particularly important for those who own small businesses and store online that sell items that may require extra shipping or returns.
Label Broker works in conjunction with USPS’s other service, Click-N-Ship.
According to the USPS website, Label Broker can be applied as the printing option after the label transaction has been completed.
Print your labels will appear on the page. The last option is to print the labels at the Post Office. Enter your email address and select that option.
The USPS will send you a QR code via email. If you are a small-business owner you can email your customer directly or forward it to them if necessary.
They or you can take the code to the post office counter, where the postal worker will scan it and print the label for free.
This label should then be attached to your parcel. It is not possible to take the label with you.
What Types Of Labels Will USPS Print For You?
USPS will print labels of any kind that Click-N’Ship supports.
As of right now, this includes Priority Mail Express or Priority Mail Express. Priority Mail International is also included. Global Express Guaranteed
If you (or your customer) print the USPS Label in the Post Office, the recipient must attach the label to their package.
You cannot use the Label Broker function to print at the postoffice and bring the label home.
Be sure to remind your customers to bring the package to the USPS Post Office.
What is the best place to print a prepaid shipping label at USPS?
Not every post office location necessarily supports Label Broker, so you will have to check for which ones near you do.
That can all be done on the USPS.com Location Finder Tool.
Enter your location and a list of post offices near you will appear. Click to zoom in on any location or view the services available.
If Label Broker supports the store, it will appear under the “Services available at this Location”, as can be seen below.
A label broker seems to be an extremely common feature in postal offices.
However, if there is only one postal office in your area that does not have it you may be able to search further up to 100 kilometers.
Is it possible for USPS to print a shipping label from your phone?
Your Label Broker QR code can be brought to a Post Office for printing in one of two ways.
The easiest and fastest way to show your USPS agent the QR code from your smartphone is the first. They will scan the code and then print it.
However, you can also bring in a printed copy of the QR code.
