Yes, you must manually opt in to receive reminders. This can be done online using your Walmart Pharmacy account.
Login, select Medication Reminders and then click the Set Up Reminders’ option beside the prescription to which you’d like reminders. It is possible to set a reminder frequency and choose a date.
