Ping G10 Driver is evolution and not revolution. Technicians have spent hours studying how high MOI designs actually work. High moi clubs are not always associated with straighter drives, according to their findings. An open club face will result in more side spin than a closed one, so it doesn’t matter whether the moi is close or wide. Moi states that company considerations were taken into account when developing the new driver. But, this doesn’t mean they ignored other critical elements which make up the complete golf driver. Instead, Moi believes the company has created a fantastic sounding driver which is both cosmetically appealing and delivers the maximum amount of distance with a lot of forgiveness. If your wondering how it differs to the Ping G5, well its body is slightly wider, the face height is slightly taller which ultimately means the clubs centre of gravity is located a little lower and deeper meaning more forgiveness over Pings previous great drivers. You’ll find that drives hitting off the centre of the G5 driver won’t have as many ball speeds, so misses will go farther.
Ping tour golfers have reported that the Ping G10 is five yards more than the current driver. The G10 has a four-yard increase in carrying distance, and the G5 has a two-mph improvement in ball speed. Ping Man (or robotic golfer) gained five yards more with significantly higher spin rates and a better launch angle. We agree that the G10 is a valuable addition.

Although the G10 is not as fun and flashy as the other tests, it may be more entertaining. There is nothing you can adjust! However, you may find that you don’t need to mess with your driver if the appointment was made.
