An Overview

Ping G10 Driver’s story is not about revolution but evolution. The MOI of high-MOI vehicles has been the subject of hours of research by engineers. These findings show that driving straighter doesn’t have to be associated with high MOI clubs. It is a fact that shots hit with either an open club or closed one face will result in no side spin. Moi states that company considerations were taken into account when developing the new driver. But, this doesn’t mean they ignored other critical elements which make up the complete golf driver. Instead, Moi believes the company has created a fantastic sounding driver that is both pleasing to the eye and delivers the maximum amount of distance with a lot of forgiveness. What makes it different from the Ping G5? Its frame is slightly wider and the head is slightly higher. That means the clubs center of gravity is more lower than before, giving the driver more forgiveness. By increasing moi, drives that are hit from the G5’s driver will not lose as much speed. This means miss hits can go further.

Ping Tour players find the Ping G10 to be five yards slower than their current driver. Ping G5 and G10 club golfers have seen a 4-yard improvement in the carry distances and a 2-mph increase in speed. Ping Man, the robotic golfer known affectionately as Ping Man, was able to carry five more yards while delivering a lower spin rate with a higher launch angle. All of which we believe adds up in the G10 being worth it.

Old vs. new driver Review: G400MAX vs. vs. vs. vs. vs. vs. vs. vs. g10 2009, Updated Modell – Review Strong and flexible all-rounder for a great price. It’s the top of the line. Quality lasts for ever.

While the G10 might not seem as flashy and fun as other test scores, the G10 could be just as entertaining. You can’t change anything, for one. But, you may not have to mess with your driver if the appointment was made.

Review: Ping’S G400 And G400 Lst Drivers

Ping’s G30 driver was the first time I saw it. That was July 2014. I was in Phoenix at Ping’s headquarters. The era was dominated by super-low spin drivers. Their forward center of gravity helped golfers achieve launch conditions that were beyond their wildest expectations. I, along with many other business people, was one such driver. Many launch monitor sessions were spent trying to determine how to maximize distance and get the most out of those high-knuckleballs. However, the bad news is that forward-CG driver were very intolerant by nature. Bad shots can be really bad and they are often very short.

Marty Jertson (Ping’s Director Product Development) explained to me, inside a conference at Ping Headquarters, his vision for the perfect driver before I realized the G30 was big. In his eyes, the perfect driver didn’t have the low, forward center of gravity (CG) that was being touted at the time. The CG is located at the rear of the driver’s head, so it offers the best of both the worlds. It allows for optimal launch conditions and forgiveness when bad shots are taken.

Although it was difficult to build the perfect driver, Jertson was thrilled with Ping’s G30. The driver proved to be a strong testament to Ping’s vision when it was first released. Because of its rear-CG design, it provided great distance for both good and bad shots. Additionally, the driver was extremely straight. The G30 sold incredibly well and, as a result, the industry mostly shifted away from forward-CG drivers.

Ping just released a counterintuitive driver release after it has been almost three years since G30 was first introduced. In an era where full-sized drivers are becoming the norm, the company reduced the size of its G400 drivers. The G400 is 15 cm smaller in volume, but the effect at home is obvious. They look like they are cutting carbs, compared to the Ping G driver they replaced (which replaced G30).

Although they are slimmer, the G400 drivers have a greater tolerance for mistakes than their G30 counterparts. Ping representative say that the G400 drivers are smaller than their G30 counterparts. Ping has never seen a driver with such a low, rearward-facing CG. The smaller drivers also have a higher aerodynamics which allows them to hit the ball faster. A new face material, made from T9S+ Titanium, is another big improvement. It is lighter and flexible to allow golfers more ball speed.

For this review, I wanted to put the G400 and G400 LST to the test against the G and the G LST drivers that they replace, so I took them to the Launch Pad Carl’s Golfland in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. Trackman IV was used to test each driver’s head. I took five shots and compared them with Trackman IV. Each driver head was adjusted to the same loft, or as close as possible.

Note: The G, G LST, and G400 drivers I tested were 10.5-degree heads adjusted to 9.5 degrees. G400 LST was lofted at 10 degrees. It was then adjusted to 9.4 degrees.

When was The Ping G10 Drive Designed?

Ping’s latest all-titanium driver, now the G10, has been launched to market in 2007.
