If you purchased an item from Amazon over 30 days ago that just stopped working, fell apart, or otherwise disappointed you, can you still return it to Amazon for a refund or exchange?
Amazon typically gives customers 30 business days to return any product, however staff frequently make exceptions. You may have to pay return shipping or a restocking charge. Some items such as mattresses, Gift List purchases, baby products, and certain refurbished goods automatically have longer return windows.

Amazon’s extended Holiday Return Policy:
Both Amazon, as well as its marketplace sellers, accept returns up to a much longer time period during holiday season.
Each year the company will announce the policy details. However, the timeframe can change at any moment.
2020’s extended policy covered products that arrived at customers’ homes no sooner than October 1st nor later than December 31st.
These items were returned by Amazon as long as the buyer did not return them before January 2021.
