Aldi is one of the biggest discount supermarket chains in the world. The chain was first established in Germany. Today, there are more than 10,000 Aldi stores around the world and $15 billion in U.S. revenues.
As of 2022, the top Aldi rivals include Lidl and Walmart. Many high quality supermarkets are available at extremely low prices and offer great products. Aldi’s selection is not as extensive as some of these supermarkets. This is because stores are focusing more on helping consumers find affordable goods that they can afford.
Lidl is thought to be the biggest competitor to Aldi because it was also founded in Germany by the same family, and it offers cheaper items for consumers.
