The 1More Triple Driver is one of the better performing wired in-ears that we’ve tested so far. For their low price, they offer excellent audio reproduction and have a small design. These headphones are better than the most expensive in-ear headphones, but they won’t offer the same convenience as wireless or truly wireless options.

Sound Quality: The 1More Driver are the Best-Sounded In-Ear Headphones under $100
It is amazing. It outperformed all the other drivers in our test and is still competitive at $200. It’s a unique sounding earphone for this price point with lots of detail, clarity, and a balanced yet smooth signature.
Shure SE215 is one of my go-to recommendations at this price point, and that still stands if you want a more bass-heavy emphasis, but side by side, they couldn’t be more different. 1More Triple is energetic and has the ability to push the throttle when necessary. Their speed almost makes the SE215 feel laggy.
Highs (Treble); The highs sound smooth and very detail-oriented, while the midrange is well separated. They work in excellent harmony with Jazz and Classical music, which at times can get peaky, and they eat up the more mellow highs found in rock and EDM, leading to a very fatigue-free but detail-rich listening experience.
Mids (Midrange): – These are smooth. You can see every detail clearly. Voices are outstanding. The balanced armatures are fast without having to reproduce the low end sound spectrum. This allows for you to see all the details and nuances that may be missed with other in-ear headphones. Only negative thing that I could find was some thinness in upper midrange.
Although the sub-bass is not for everyone, the TFZ No.3 delivers a powerful bass. All earphones are designed with more balanced sound, which is evident in the bass. There is a lot of quality here, excellent speed, and thankfully no bleed into the lower mids. Although it sounds good and is full of kick, the Yamaha EPH-100 has more bass tones.

The original titanium-colored Triple Driver Over-Ear headphones were released several years ago to much critical acclaim. This classic set has been updated by Drop and 1MORE. In addition to the new color, the driver coating was changed to graphene. The cable also has an updated remote.
1More Triple Driver In-Ear Headphones Performance
1More Triple Driver headphones was tested on many devices. These included the LG V30+ Review Apple iPhone 6s Plus (Review ), and a MacBook Air. An assortment of media were used. These included streaming from the internet and FLAC files that are high-resolution. 1More’s Assistant app also helped us put the headphones through a burn-in process. This review was dominated by In The Closet, Pink Floyd’s Coming Back to Life, and Reminder from The Weeknd.
Complex track In The Closet has a lot happening in the middle-range. There are also heavy bass notes. With the FLAC version of this track, the Triple Driver In-Ear managed to deliver very good separation between the multiple instruments and the sound effects that are sprinkled intermittently throughout the song. The bass response was powerful and direct. The bass response was punchy and to the point.
Coming Back To Life’s electric guitar riff was sharp and powerful. Vocals were once again crisp and were placed front and centre among all the instruments. The balanced armature drivers handled high frequencies with great precision, and the dynamic driver added a slight amount of bass to every track.
Reminder is known for its strong bass and tight vocals. The song was well controlled and the bass never overpowered the vocals.
Listening to the same tracks in FLAC using all our different test devices showed that the quality of the source really matters with the 1More Triple Driver In-Ear headphones. The LG V30+ had a quad DAC that didn’t make a big difference in audio quality compared with the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime, which has a similar feature. The mid-range and bass were slightly different, although it was not difficult to discern the differences. It was good to hear music streaming from the Internet. However, you won’t be able do the headphones justice if the files are high resolution.
The silicone ear tips offer a good fit but we found the foam ones to be more comfortable, and they even offer better isolation against ambient noise. However, there is audio leakage at high volumes, and so whatever you’re listening to will be audible to those around you. We didn’t feel fatigued even though we listened to music for more than an hour.
Voice calls were handled well, and the buttons on the in-line remote have good tactile feedback. The headphones also do a good job with other forms of media such as movies, which sounded balanced and engaging in our experience.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve been reviewing 1MORE gear. Mike and Klaus have reviewed almost every earphone in their range. We received mostly positive feedback. I am writing this review for the 1MORE brand and reviewing the 1MORE Headphone. What a fascinating headphone this Triple Driver Over the-Ear Headphone was.
Although this is not the brand’s first headset, I believe that their budget 1More MP801 has taken this honor. This headphone however is quite ambitious. With a price of $249 it is firmly planted in the mid-fi segment of portable on-ear headphones. The twist? It has not one, but three drivers. Although it’s not a multi-BA IEM, this is a very unique product.
It is not my intention to type that name every time I need it. The name I have chosen to use for this article is “Triple Driver” in order to keep it short and easy on my finger-joints.
Mids and Low-End (Bass),
It’s slightly counterintuitive, but earbuds often have better bass than many over-ear headphones . This is thanks to their isolation: in sealing off the canal, they managed to make the most out of the bass frequencies, despite their smaller drivers. Despite this, it is still quite impressive to hear the triple driver in-ears pump out bass.
It sounds full like an ounce of rare steak. This sound is full of meatiness and drives that we instantly fell for. And again, we couldn’t be more amazed that an inexpensive pair of earbuds under $100 had such a powerful volume. 1More does not give the exact size of drivers, however there are three, which has an amazing effect on sound quality. We think this quality translates well into the mids with guitars and vocals perfectly picked out. 1More does offer a Quad Driver in-Ears which are more expensive and have four drivers compared with the TDIE’s three. Although they are more expensive at $150, they offer better sound quality. For what it’s worth, we think of the TDIEs offer better value, but the four-driver model is certainly a viable option if you want to boost the already-amazing sound quality. Important to remember: You want the most effective sound quality, so make sure to choose the right size tip and ensure a good fit. While we didn’t notice a difference in the sound, it wasn’t noticeable. We have included below our feedback on the comfort, fit, and sound quality of the TDIEs.
This is what’s really amazing about it all. The best thing about all this? How these earbuds outperform the rest. These earbud models are all over the price-range of less than $150. It sometimes feels as though every company is trying to make their bestseller. Most of these companies can’t even get close. However, after spending time with the TDIEs we can confidently say that they could smoke almost any other earbud – even the ones we have reviewed. Compare them, for example, to the Beats by Dre urBeats3 full review here ), which also cost $80, and suck. There are very few redeeming characteristics to them, while the TDIEs offer more in nearly every aspect. Even compared with more expensive headphones such as the BrainwavzB200 ($120, full review here), the TDIEs win. The B200s emphatically do not suck – they are among our favorites – but they are beaten to the punch by the cheaper TDIEs.
In-Line controls
These earbuds have few downsides. However, the in-line controls are a plus. Shinola Canfield earbuds, a $195 pair were reviewed in our review. They are a superb pair which impressed us both with design and sound. It had gone through several hands before arriving at our offices. This resulted in the fact that the control wire was slightly bent. Although the problem was minor, we knew it wasn’t due to the earbuds. The device felt strange when it was being used. How does the Triple Driver work in your ears? They feel that way, and they feel that way on purpose.
Okay, maybe that is a bit unfair. It isn’t as though 1More was trying to replicate an out-of-order in-line mouse controller. But while the buttons work well, allowing us to skip, pause, and play tracks, they feel decidedly odd. There’s an unfinished, industrial tactility to them. The buds look great, but the controls are awkward. 1More would be better off putting more thought into the design. It slowed down the user’s experience and made it less enjoyable.
Are They Worth $100?
To recap: The 1More delivers in the sound department, and I never felt unsatisfied by how the headphones performed on any particular song or genre. Through it all, the bass booms while everything else stays nice and clear. You can probably find a few things you don’t like at louder volumes, but at the levels where most people listen, the 1Mores are outstanding.
I’ve worn these headphones on my commute, plugged them into my laptop, and back into my phone (with my dongle never too far away) and never thought twice about that experience. The headphones even made me nostalgic for the cables. I also didn’t have to worry about charging them — another perk of wired headphones I had forgot about.
The best headphones for everyday use are those that have a comfortable design, sound great, and build quality. 1More Triple Driver Headphones In-Ears fulfill all of those criteria. They’re not cheap at $99.99, but there’s a lot of value. And you’ll forget all about the price after they become a regular part of your daily routine.
